I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas! I've talked with most of you or seen you but just wanted to put that out there in case i hadn't!
We had a wonderful time. We went to my mom's house (the best place in the world!) and had Christmas dinner over there. I made these amazing mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and a cold salad (actually Lueken's made the salad but shhh). My mom made butterfly fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, and prime rib. My grandmother made the pies. I'm sure there might have been a few other smaller things but ooooh it was SO good. We watched my boys open their presents and played a game later in the night. It was snowing so bad that we had to go home a little early so we didn't get snowed in and have to spend the night! LOL. The kids got SOOO many clothes and i couldn't be more thankful. Koi also got a battery operated 4-wheeler from my parents and Derrian got an electric scooter! Derrian spent the night and Ladie's daughters came later that evening and he got to play with my niece's. I love the holidays. On Sun. i got up and went to church, it felt really good going again but i almost fainted twice! When i got home it wasn't much longer until Ken and Debbie got here. They stayed for 2 nights and it was so wonderful to have them here.
The first night we made a deep fried turkey. Laura bought us the fryer and i HAD to try it out. We invited my grandpa over, Laura came, and her daughter Jessie and her husband Ryan came as well. We played a couple games after supper and that was a fun night too! Monday Debbie and I headed into town to do some shopping and spend a little time together. We grabbed lunch and spent the boys' gift cards to Walmart. (They got needed things instead of more toys). After lunch we met up with the guys (Kurt, Ken, Derrian, and Koi), tried napping, and then headed out to supper later in the evening. We went to the Chinese buffet, one of my fav's! Then watched the football game last night - LOSERS! They had to leave early this morning after breakfast and it was sad to see them go.
Now today Kurt is fixing his truck with his friend Josh because the heater went out. Hopefully that all turns out okay. I think i'm going to go take a nap since i just put Koi to bed.
Thank you for all the gifts from everyone and for the kids for my children. They got SO much stuff and should keep busy for quite some time! : )
Oh, my digital camera has also been broken, which is why there have been no pictures! But my mom let me borrow hers so now i can update again once i start taking some more.

O my goodness my schedule has been retarded! Final training requirements and stuff before I head to Iraq for 6 months. I leave March 1st so I'm totally running out of time. These last few weeks things get pretty hectic. Not much time for dinkin' around on the puter. I can't believe all the new pics that are on your website that I hadn't seen. We'll all need to see some Macy Marie belly pics! Doh!
Love you guys!
Tanya, it sounds as though Macy is pretty set on what she needs for quite awhile which is a good thing. She is loved even before she gets here by many people. I wasn't aware of Kurt's new work schedule, it can't be easy on him being away, especially having to do his job in this weather must truly stink. I wanted to let you know that when the time comes, and if you would like some help when Macy comes, let me know and I will gas up the old Toyota. I can take my school with me and with Koi being so young, it will be overwhelmingly exhausting for you without Kurt around if he has to work. Offer is out there, I will let you make the call. Give my grandkids a hug for me and I hope you are feeling well. Take Care!
Mickie
