New Years Eve

Happy New Year everyone!
Tomorrow, New Year's Eve, we'll be celebrating with some close family and friends. I'm going to be cooking a fabulous supper! : ) I'll be making lobster, scallops, and shrimp to be mixed into fettucini alfredo with sides of crab legs, oven roasted asparagus with garlic, and breadsticks. For dessert it's bubbly jello parfait on champagne glasses. I'm very excited. We got to have Christmas here and now New Year's Eve! We wish you all a very safe and happy New Year. I don't know how 2009 can top our 2008 : )

I know this is WAY after the other pictures of Kurt's birthday but i forgot about them! This one is way to funny not to post. We were playing Cranium and we were guessing what they were doing. I won. It was a karate kid!

A firetruck!

It's pretty cool to have a grandpa who's a fireman! Derrian wanted a firetruck real bad this year. He even made a huge Dear Santa picture letter of the things he wanted and drew his own firetruck so Santa knew. This one was a little bigger than he had expected :)

Christmas with the Goossen's

Ken and Debbie came up today (Dec. 26th) so we could have Christmas with them and they could see the boys. I'm sure there will be more pictures but these are the ones i had so far. They rented a room at the Hampton Inn so they're there swimming with Derrian and Kurt right now. Figured i'd do these ones because when i start to get to many pictures i get discouraged :)

Derrian bought presents for every body this year at the Dollar Store :) I gave him a name and he ran and picked out something. Some people got some normal things and some people got some pretty funny things. He picked out this dinosaur for Koi. The problem was it was a puzzle dinosaur lol so it came in tons of little pieces :) Needless to say, he didn't get to keep it. But it looks like the best present for Koi is Derrian's attention. He loves his big brother.

This is the ball Laura bought derrian for Christmas. On the box it shows these little kids and the ball looks like it fits snuggly around the kid when they slide in the middle. Well, not so much : ) This thing is HUGE! lol Derrian likes it though. He'll really be able to cruise around this summer in it.

This is Derrian's Christmas gift from my mom and ladie. It's crazy! It shows you what keys to push to play 99 different songs. It has different instruments you can make the keys sound like. It has different everything! He is very spoiled : )

Koi's first gift he opened! He had gifts at my mom and ladie's but he was comfortable in grandpa's arms so derrian just opened them for him.

I wanted to get some videos of him blabbering away but it's hard because he finds the camera and then won't talk. It's kind of dark but hopefully i can keep trying to get better videos.
