Hello everybody,
I was just looking back at some videos and pictures because my kids are to cute and i noticed there are a lot of comments i never even knew came in. I wanted to thank you guys for that. In response to Courtney, YES you can always drive to Bemidji! We'll be coming to Duluth again once we're back in to a normal routine with Kurt and his job.

Sick baby, Sick kid.

So my boys is currently sick. Not fun. It's nothing more than a runny nose and a small temperature but still. Koi has been up crying off and on all night long for the last 2 nights. I'm tired : ) Yesterday he slept off and on throughout the day but for very short periods of time. He's not eating a whole lot but he still loves his bottle and water, so. Derrian went to school today, we were kinda on the fence on whether he wanted to or not though. He woke up coughing a little bit. I guess strep throat is going around school pretty bad so we'll see. My grandpa called last night to see how Koi was, which is very unusual because he doesn't usually call anybody : ) - he's not a phone person unless you call him. I thought that was so sweet because he really loves his grand kids. He's a wonderful grandpa, i'm lucky : ) NOT that the other grandpas out there aren't wonderful!!!! I just love him because he's MY grandpa : ) and he raised me so i'm pretty partial to him.
So, i'm off to my mom's this morning. She's having a party - THANKS MOM! Hopefully she's able to get TONS of things.
Well, this takes up about enough time on the computer. I have things i need to be getting done.

Woot Woot!

So Kurt has a new job! Well, kinda. He's still working for Limited but now he's going to be working for Ladie.
Ladie had some positions open up and Kurt got one of them! This means he is going to be home EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND! Unless of course, something comes up but that's not very often. It was very hard for him to leave the crew he's on now because he's basically 'grown up' so-to speak with Jim and the guys. He wouldn't leave them under any other circumstance except now we have the chance to be a family. Only us 4, every weekend, doing our own thing, spending time as a family. Ladie gave us a boat so we'll be able to bring the kids on boat rides whenever we want, it just doesn't get any better than this! Well, i'm sure realistically it could but i am just very very happy with the way this situation is. No more 8 hours drives. He may even be working within driving distance all winter! : )
While it was hard for him to leave his main crew (he hasn't left yet) i appreciate everything he does for us. I have a great husband and i have great parents! : ) *I'm pretty much just happy right now* haha.
Well, the boys and i went with my mom and ladie up north for a surprise birthday party for my younger cousin and it was so much fun. Every one else is sleeping now though so i'm going to go to bed too because before i know it, Koi is going to be up for the day :|

This was what was happening every time we put him to bed for awhile - What a MONSTER! He's gotten better though now he just sits up or gets on his knees and holes on to the side and shakes his crib : ) So better and worse.

So Kurt went back to work yesterday. It was hard for everybody involved. Hopefully our circumstances can change sometime in the future so he can be home more often. It's hard to have a full-on family every single day for over 3 months and then boom, back to the same old.

It's been getting warmer and warmer and that's so exciting. I'm looking forward to this summer. It's going to be fun being able to garden and have the kids outside every day.

Happy Easter!

We celebrated our Easter today. It was beautiful outside, the company was great, couldn't have asked for anything more. At 11 Laura and I were down at the water front with Derrian for the Easter egg hunt Bemidji puts on. It was a little frustrating because so many kids were taking more eggs than they were supposed to but what do you do. Even some parents and a grandma was out there filling their bag! You were only supposed to take 5 the first time and then they went again and they could take 3, then all ages went together and i thought for sure this was going to be where they can grab until their bag was full and last minute the dude said grab 3 but i just let derrian get 3/4 of a bag full : ). He had fun. Then we came home and everybody started showing up. We grilled brats, polish, and pork chops on the grill. Had some beans and chips and it was fantastic! : ) Thank you to all who showed up!! : ) It's been fun hosting all the holidays here. I guess at some point you're supposed to take it over from your mother and i guess this is that year for me!
